Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 20 | Lito Escarso | Argentinian pianist, orchestra director from Santa Fe (died in 2008). | |

Despite treatments and two operations, his eyesight did not return, so that he was sent to Belgrade as a seven-year-old child to an educational institution for blind children. After he came to Sarajevo in 1957, he sang at Radio Sarajevo and became a permanent soloist at the age of 19. At the same time, he began to compose songs in the spirit of folk melodies and successfully participated in many folk music festivals, especially the “Ilidža” and “Beogradski sabor” festivals. At these festivals, he performed both as a performer and as an author. He recorded his first records in 1960 and was also the exclusive artist of the then-largest record company “Jugoton” from Zagreb. For this house, he recorded a large number of records from his own collection, as well as songs by other authors. Most of his works were sold in large editions. Among his most famous compositions were: “Bol bolujem draga”, “Ima jedna cura u sokaku mome”, “Moj život je rijeka bez obale” and many more. Nevertheless, the most successful composition was “Ne klepeći nanulama” to the lyrics of Ibrahim Dedić, which was recorded in 26 arrangements and versions. According to record companies and numerous surveys, this song is the most successful melody of composed folk music of all time. Parallel to his singing career, he was involved in the organization of the entertainment industry. As a music manager, he organized countless concerts of all kinds of music for many agencies. At the beginning of 2008, he wrote a book entitled “Muzika mog vremena” (Music of my time). Husein Kurtagić died on 27 November 2008 in Sarajevo. |

| Search | Add | 20 | Carlo Bo | Carlo Bo (25 January 1911 – 21 July 2001) was a poet, literary critic, a professor and Life senator of Italy (from 1984). Before the Second World War, in the year 1936, he published an essay on the literary magazine Frontespizio which was gathering together the most relevant poets like Mario Luzi, and contemporary artists from Ottone Rosai to Giorgio Morandi and Quinto Martini. His essay was titled "Letteratura come vita (Literature as a way of life)", containing the theoretical-methodological fundamentals of hermetic poetry. This was to become a strong poetical movement comprising important poets, such as Salvatore Quasimodo and Eugenio Montale, both of whom would go on to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature (1959, 1975). Bo himself, however, never did and, at the age of 86, was rendered incapable of understanding Dario Fo's 1997 receipt of the Nobel Prize in Literature, saying "I must be too old to understand. What does this mean? That everything changes, even literature has changed. Bo was president of University of Urbino from 1947, for more than 50 years. | |

This is where he develops his unique blend of sonic soundscapes in his home studio: APS studios. Adam has more than twenty years experience as a multi-instrumentalist and music producer. His interest in music as a whole dates back as far as he can remember. "Growing up, I would go out to our driveway to shoot hoops. At the same time, I would hum melodies in my head. Back then, I wished I had a way to get those ideas down so all my friends could hear them. The creative medium of music is my favorite because when it's done right, the emotion is so real. That's true for both the performer and the listener." Shinn's goal is to find a way to express his emotions through music by any appropriate method. "If I'm feeling peaceful and serene, I'll go that route. If a song needs a traditional intro-verse-hook-bridge-outro structure, I'll take it there. But I won't limit myself. You can't limit music. It's all about vibe and less about tradition. I'm trying to be original and true to my senses, which is my mission as a creative." | |

| Search | Add | 20 | Mr. P Chill | William Rhoten | Mr. P Chill is an independent hip hop emcee and producer with three decades of experience as a recording and touring artist. With the recent release of his 14th full length album, L.I.F.E. - Living In Fragile Environments (2021), there is no sign that this Sacramento hip hop vet is stopping any time soon. Beginning his career as a recording artist in Sacramento, CA in 1992 with the release of his former group’s first cassette single, Chill has not only embraced what it means to be an emcee, but has also shown a flair for entrepreneurism as he has chosen the path of independence with the start of his own label. Over the next ten years, he remained active with his former group, recording and performing as well as being involved in the production of various projects from other Sacramento artists. Around the start of the 21st century, Chill was less active with music as he was faced with a crossroad. In 2001, he disbanded his original group and decided to go solo. The first release was his self titled debut album in 2002. Also that year, Chill began touring the West Coast, performing shows in various bars and small music venues in support of this record. By 2007, Chill was performing an average of 50-60 shows a year all over California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, while maintaining a full time day job. In 2010, after burning the candle at both ends for a decade, Mr. P Chill went walked away from the 9 to 5 and devoted 100% of his energy to music and touring. In the fifteen years since, he has expanded his touring to cover the entire US at least once per year, alongside smaller regional tours throughout the year. Chill spends on average, ⅔ of every calendar year on the road, performing songs, selling merchandise and most importantly, connecting with fans. Also in recent years, Mr. P Chill has had the pleasure of collaborating in the studio and sharing the stage with legendary emcees such as Spyder-D, 2Mex, Cee Knowledge (aka Doodlebug of Digable Planets), Percee P, The Great Peso (Fearless Four), Sach Illpages (The Nonce), Sage Francis, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Terminology, Masta Ace and Fatlip (The Pharcyde), just to name a few. Most notably, his single with hip hop pioneer, Spyder-D, entitled “No Regrets” spent several months in rotation on college radio from coast to coast in late 2015. In October 2015 the song was featured by the legendary founder of Public Enemy, Chuck D, on his weekly radio show, “Songs That Mean Something”, on WBAI Radio in NYC and streamed worldwide on rapstation.com. In March 2017, Mr. P Chill and The Great Peso of the Fearless Four released a single called “R U Wit It” which enjoyed regular airplay on college radio and on rapstation.com. On the weekly radio show, Hip Hop Gods Radio, the single charted for 13 weeks, peaking at #1 in July 2017. Most recently his song "Social Distancing" from his most recent L.I.F.E. album, that he collaborated with Cee Knowledge on, charted at #1 on the same chart in August of 2020 after several months in rotation on rapstation.com, Hip Hop Gods Radio and various college and community radio stations across the United States. Also from the L.I.F.E. album, the song "Diggin' (Crate Digger's Anthem)" charted on the Hip Hop Gods top 20 and hit #1 after 12 weeks climbing the charts. The future looks bright for Mr. P Chill, a man who remains focused as he enters his prime. Chill is guided by his positive attitude, his heartfelt lyrics and his connection to hip hop’s golden era. |

| Search | Add | 19 | Jeff Thomass | Lutz Wollersen | born: 16th June 1955 - died: 1st October 2023 (aged 68) Lutz was born in Schleswig and was taken to Hamburg by his parents, where he was allowed to grow up. After graduating from high school, the lot fell on Filmkaufmann. After successfully completing this training, he then went to university to study musicology and also English and psychology. His father, Egon, was an actor and singer, his mother, Inge, played classical piano. He had acting lessons with Erla Prollius and he learned tap dancing with Arthur Bankmann, who had already danced in films with Marika Rökk. Lutz developed a liking for the music and lifestyle of the American 50s and 60s early on. This also explains the founding of the doo-wop band "Kool Cad' And The Tailfins" in the mid-70s. The formation brought it to two LPs and three singles with the hit "Rama Lama Ding Dong". For the hit "I Should, Should Dance" he adopted the pseudonym "Jeff Thomass", under which he released 1 LP and 3 singles on Teldec, which were also successful in France and gave him three major TV shows in Paris and France Cannes bestowed. In Germany there was also the "Goldene Europa" for the best newcomer in 1986. In the 80s Lutz became a member of the show band "Rudolf Rock & die Schocker", After a private break and a few failures, he abruptly ended his work as a solo performer and founded the company "City Jive Musicproductions" in the early 1990s, with which he composed and produced music and sound design for TV commercials. Lutz was a part-time member of the "Skyliner Big Band", the big band of the University of Hamburg, and since he has always enjoyed crooners like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin or Sammy Davis Jr., the path was somehow predetermined. |
