Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Voiced Death | Death Metal/Grindcore band from Szczecin, West Pomerania, Poland. Active from 1989 - ? (Split up). Formed in late-1989 in Szczecin by lead vocalist/guitarist Piotr Boguszewski and drummer Artur Nowerski. For 2 months, the band suspended operations as they couldn’t find a place to rehearse. At the end of the year, bassist Mefisto was incorporated. In March 1990, they recorded their first songs independently. Shortly afterwards, Mefisto presented his resignation, and was replaced by Stany from the hardcore band Rotten Apple. In August, they recorded the demo Murderous Massage at the “Atut” student club. More recording sessions at the ARP Studio were scheduled. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Despite the Blindness | Self-described as “…progressive…” & “…a mix of beauty and aggression…” Despite the Blindness is no doubt ambitious in what they seek. At times heavy and others soft and subtle, the band insists the music exists only to enhance the lyrics, which are filled with imagery that can be both heart wrenching and horrifying. This philosophy is akin to a singer/songwriter approach, a comparison Despite the Blindness encourages. “Absolutely. The story is the most important part. The lyrics, the poetry, the story shouldn’t exist to fill holes in the music. The music should enhance the story. It’s the story that needs to be told, not the other way around…” James Seabrook (Guitar) - Leo Gonzalez (Drums) - Troy Nowaselski (Bass) | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ang Mga Surot | Fictional hip hop concept group of characters from the Philippines consisting of Pepito, Pedrito & Bertito. "Ang Mga Surot" is RJ Records answer to Alvin and the Chipmunks. Pepito is the self-proclaimed leader of the gang. Persistent in every way, this little rascal craves for food like everything depended on it. Funny and witty, that's what Pepito is. Pedrito is the acclaimed "ladies man" of the group. Lady "surots" swoon over this fellow, what with his good looks and cool voice. Bertito is the nerd and has knowledge of practically everything under the sun. His large spectacles and weird clothes speak for the kind of "surot" that he is. | |

I have been composing for the audiovisual industry for a while - you can check some of the projects I have worked on here. Auteyn is for me a space of artistic freedom, the result of a search for unity in the diversity of my musical experiences: electroacoustic music, composition & orchestration, early music, diverse electrified projects and traditional music. And as I live in the middle of nowhere - more specifically in Lower Normandy (France), nature is a very important part of my creative process. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Shlitz Family Robinson | The Schlitz Family Robinson rose from the ashes of an older band, [a3813761]. Writing and recording songs to a 4 track Tascam, the band aspired to be the [a=Pigface] of comedy music. Targeting celebrities and current trends, the band used catchy jingles and Casio keyboard melodies to create an array of songs with amusing titles. A long list of contributors include [a=Shawn C. Baker], [a=Jason Brown (29)], [a=Sonny Vitkauskas], [a=Joe Kwit], [a=Jay Czechcowski], [a=Chris Widerstrom], [a=Joe Grez (2)], [a=Tim Crosse], Chris May, Rob Nilsson, and countless others. Eventually, a live set up was established for shows using a small core of main members performing with a few instrument switches and several guests vocalists and musicians at any given time. Many fish frys, bathroom sinks, parking lots, and unsuspecting females felt the wrath of The Schlitz Family Robinson. After a ten year hiatus, a reunion show was put togetherand played in 2010, and this slowly unleashed the start of recording a new album in 2013, Stay tuned kids! | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Norinian | Norinian hails from Haarlem, the Netherlands and describe their music as 'industrialized urban black metal'. Norinian was founded on the threshold of the new millennium by A. Kramm and Tsasil to channel the self-inflicted isolation and feelings of misanthropy of the individual in mass, urban society. Originally playing all the instruments themselves several songs were written and recorded, yet this first demo ‘Dead World’ (2001) was never released to the public. In 2005 two of the songs, recorded over the years ,’Treacherous’ and ‘The Sinner’, were released on the ‘D.E.S.O.L.A.T.E.D.’ demo. Even though the demo was limited to a small number of copies both tracks quickly emerged on a number of foreign websites, receiving praise from listeners spread out from Europe to Japan. After the release Norinian became inactive for quite some time, both members focusing on diverse solo projects. Over two years had passed when A. Kramm and Tsasil were both asked to participate in an unrelated electronic project. Now that they had rekindled their cooperation, inspiration for new material eventually resurfaced as well. With the recruitment of Për on bass Norinian was reformed with an even colder and more industrial sound. This lead to the recording of the 2008 demo ‘Absence Seizure’, featuring an updated version of ‘Sinner’, three new tracks; ‘Cacotopian Masses’, ‘Skin:Machine’, and ‘Sanity’s Void’ and an industrial intro titled ‘Reaktor’. Never officially released Absence Seizure was leaked to the internet from a file sharing website while still in production in 2008. The recordings with unofficial artwork and spelling error in the title (‘Absent Seizure’) made their way to webzines and forums after which the band decided to ‘just leave in to the internet’. 2020 Absence Seizure was released in it’s first physical format as a limited edition cassette tape on the label 'Knekelput'. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Unsifted | The story of Unsifted begins in 1999 thanks to the musical passion of four friends. Our first line-up, consisting of Dario on bass, Emiliano on electric guitar, Filippo on drums and Cristiano vocals and guitar, was already born with quite clear ideas about the musical genre with which to try our hand: melodic punk-hardcore. Today, in fact, after 4 years, we are doing nu-metal and there are five of us. But let's go back... The first times were not easy at all in fact we were 4 complete rookies, that is no one had ever taken, or almost, the instrument in hand; and I'm not talking about the first saw ... Anyway, without being discouraged by the certainly not exciting results of the first times we found ourselves to try, with a spirit of self-denial, sweat (especially Filippo) and fatigue, after some time we became familiar with our instruments and things improved considerably. In a few months we had already managed to reach our first goal, that is to do "Bullion" by Millencolin in a way that is not decent but acceptable. Then we were composing melodic punk-hardcore songs on repeat and, I swear, some of them weren't bad at all, one above all "skaters" (our most avid fans still remember her!). The germ of a new sound, however, was already creeping into the group and a short time later the first song was born that didn't fuck us with what we were doing, "Smelling plastic people", but it was a success. At our first concert, organized by the Godzilla social center at the Three Bridges, as many as 1 person came to compliment us in person and told us that the song he liked best was just that. From that moment our music began to take a slightly different turn and the group changed its appearance with the arrival of Marco on vocals in 2001, finally defining the genre musical; nu-metal indeed. But the soul and spirit of the first bands that inspired us have not been completely lost and recently someone told me that the reason they like us is that deep down in our music you can still hear the influences of the early days. And in fact he is not completely wrong. From the moment Marco joined the band, the live activity of the group began to be more frequent and, after getting to know us, as much as possible, in the Livorno music scene, in July 2002 we recorded our first self-produced demo which, despite its sonic immaturity, obtained excellent feedback from critics and some fanzines wrote about us: "... the 4 pieces contained in the demo connote and underline the thick and powerful sonority of the band, alternating with melodic spaces of remarkable workmanship. " With this demo we managed to accumulate other more interesting live experiences towards the end of 2002, including a truly unforgettable one at the central Telethon show in Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa. Beautiful because we were able to play to the fullest of our potential with an excellent system and high professionalism of the people who worked at the event, but above all because after us nothing less than "The cousins of the countryside" are mounted on the stage !! Executioner, what moments ... (With all due respect to the country cousins and their hairstyles ... At the beginning of 2003, like any newcomer group, we began to participate in the first competitions and events both at a regional and national level and thanks to the participation in "Sanremo Rock", where we won the regional selection that took place at the Blus Up in Venturina. , we were able to play in several well-known clubs in the province of Pisa and Lucca, up to the national final which took place in Sanremo in February 2003 (it was cold and we were dying) where, however, due to health reasons, our bassist he was replaced for the occasion by the very famous Daniele Catalucci (Virginiana Miller). In the provincial context, on the other hand, it is worth noting the excellent experience of the "rock emergency" competition which saw us reach the provincial final and consolidated our position in the Livorno music scene. Thanks to this event we got in touch with the organizer of the show who will supervise the realization of the new promo-cd that we will record in September | |

Born and raised in a family of musicians, Ralph started his musical training at 3 years old on the piano before shifting to guitar and bass. As a teenager, influenced by the French Touch and iconic labels from the Hamburg scene such as DIAL or Smallville, he developed a growing interest for electronic music and co-founded D.KO Records in 2013. Under his Flabaire moniker or as a bassist of the band Secret Value Orchestra, he releases 9 EPs and 4 albums, switching easily from House to Ambient or Jungle. After a decade spent sharpening his producing skills, Ralph goes back to his first love in 2018 and launches the Aboukir project, a rock band developing a singular psychedelic and atmospheric sound on his debut album Digital Introversion. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ethiocolor | The band Ethiocolor is getting well known for bridging the gap between past and present by mixing old musical traditions with new ones and coming up with a new form of modern Ethiopian music. The band that is known for their vibrant live shows combines the Azmari culture from the northern part of the country with other regional sounds, and by using amplified versions of traditional instruments, they are pioneering a new way of playing Azmari music. Ethiocolor consists of three generation of musicians and singers using the Kirar (a kind of lyre), Bass Kirar, Washint (flute), Kebero (traditional drums) and Massinqo. According to Melaku Belay who is the leader and founder of Ethiocolor, the goal is not just to assemble the best traditional musicians and create another folk ensemble but to demonstrate that the immense musical heritage of Ethiopia can be performed with a great degree of creativity while maintaining its identity. Each musician has extensive national and international experience. The musicians and dancers have collaborated with traditional music projects, but also with jazz, rock, fusion, and hip hop. | |

He founded Another Room Magazine in 1978 with Lucy Childs and graphic designer Michael Mallery [+], apparently one of the first magazines designed using a MacIntosh computer. Another Room was a zine devoted to SF’s underground culture and arts to which Greil Marcus, amongst others, was a contributor. In 1982, the editors also organized Public Hearing events, during which they mixed various cassettes on a PA system installed on the roof of a building in an industrial area in Oakland, CA.. Gullak co-founded [l=A.R.P.H. Tapes] (for Another Room Public Hearings) in 1982 with Jeff Brogan, and released a dozen of compilation cassettes and solo works from a network of (principally Bay Area) contributors, including XX Committee, Big City Orchestra, Johanna Went, or The Problemist aka Unsound magazine publisher William Davenport. Founder of "The No Other Radio Network" program on KPFA, Berkeley, CA. in 1981, a radio show focused on underground, experimental, electronic and industrial music. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Armi Grano | Originally from the Philippines, Armi started singing at the age of 2 during family gatherings. She learned the songs by listening to radio stations broadcasted through US Airbases. She has always loved the great American standards and sang along with Frank, Sarah and Dean while she was growing up. Armi turned professional at the age of 16 singing popular cover tunes as a means to support herself through university. Immigrated to Canada in 1987, she decided to put a hold on singing until 1995 after she watched Kenny Colman, a jazz/saloon crooner performed with the Miles Black trio at the old Chardonnay’s Restaurant in Vancouver, BC • She decided that she would learn this exciting type of music by attending jazz workshops and watching and listening to various jazz performers. She eventually landed a gig at Casbah Jazzbah Bar belting jazz standards arranged by Miles Black himself • In 1999, Armi released her debut album “Satin Dreams” produced by Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, which was well received and became one of the top independent albums in Vancouver. While she was busy promoting the album and performing at various shows, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2000. Her singing career was once again put on hold so she could receive cancer treatments. Towards the end of 2001, she released her second album “Latin Color” which sparked her comeback and a hope that she will stay for good. Two more albums came after which were “Feelin’ Fine” and the Christmas album “Holiday Party”. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Lågornas Rov | It was a few years that Jonas Calander and Anders Nilsson haunted each other's peripheries before Fredrik Hellman brought them together in what would become Hellman and Härden. The year was 2019 and the band quickly gained momentum. It was intense, impatient and creative. The song material became immediately digert. Hellman & Härden managed a single, an EP and a handful of gigs before everything suddenly ended. Fredrik took his own life. Somewhere in the paralyzing shadow world that followed Jonas continued. Of necessity. To survive. There was still oxygen in the music. Out of all the insomniac nights, all attempts to understand and the impenetrable haze that Fredrik left behind, the song 'The Pictures' was born. At once a tribute to Fredrik as a convulsive attempt to force their own the hatches. Somewhere in there it was created. The sketch of something new. Anders, who had decided that music was a closed chapter, was asked to give another voice to the song. A departure from what has been. Traces in the ashes and in the sorrow. And in the creative collaboration with Jonas he found the will to give it another chance. Up, forward and away. The aim was set. Then the next killing blow... Jonas had a brain tumor. On the other side after anesthesia and under rehabilitation he continued the work. Everything had gone well. On the way up and back, the collaboration between Anders and Jonas took an increasingly obvious and fixed form. Tired eyes that forced themselves to see hope seep through the fog curtains. Lågornas Rov (The Prey Of The Flames) was a fact. It's time now. That day. Dark dreamy post-punk rushing towards the light. | |
