Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Susie Raney Susie Raney was a sassy young high school student when she cut William Bell’s own superb deep wailer "You Hurt So Good", later covered with such distinction by Mitty Collier. Only a few copies of the 45 were ever pressed up and Susie never followed the 45 through with any other sessions. But it remains a cult single – not bad for a disc that was virtually a vanity recording, cut as a favour by Bell at the request of Atlanta’s chief promoter and artist management entrepreneur Henry Wynn. Raney was a friend of Wynn’s daughter and he featured her on one of his Supersonic package tours, but she never made music her career

Search Add 2 Robert Mareković Robert Mareković is a Croatian swing and rock singer. He grew up in Novi Zagreb. he was drawn to music from the 1950s and 1960s. He formed his first band the Rockin’ Kids in 1987. In 1988 he co-founded the Voodoo Cats which became Fantomi in 1989. Whilst working in Fantomi he worked as a DJ on legendary Blue Moon nights in Kulušić. Fantomi broke through and had national hits in 1990 with a 50 inspired sound and look. The Croatian Homeland War slowed the band down but they subsequently went on to release more albums before Robert left the band in 1994. Robert was out of Fantomi for one album in the 90s, but he personally supervised few compilations in 2000s, and he considered himself as part of band. In 1995 he worked as a radio host on Radio Sljeme. Between 1995-1997 he released four independent singles. In 1997 he appeared at the first Croatian Radio Festival and that year he reformed Fantomi with new members in order to make the album Iza zatvorenih vrata In 1999 he founded the band Swingers to play swing (and 5os, early 60s rock and pop) In 2005 he gathered the band Fantomi for a short while, so as to give two performances and record a single after 11 years, which was called Stari saxofon and appeared on the compilation album – Fantomi – Zlatna kolekcija (Golden collection) Mareković continues to work on Croatian radio. Swingers continue to play and release material and often collaborate with other like minded artists from Croatia and from around Europe.

Search Add 2 Emitto Audio Built by modern techno minds and derived by self intended oscillating slapdash consequences that emit tweaked out phaser-esque realistic modulated sounds in an unclear or ambiguous tone. Our sound comes from a balance of huge spaces and smooth echo chambers forging machines from scratch; tweaking tools as a modern tribal creamy momentum that resonates a Robotic Servo device that corrects the action of a mechanism forming odd repetitive modulations. We look for mutations that cross-rhythm in a specific form of polyrhythms, unaimed distinguished rhythms that simultaneously adapt to reconstructed rhythmic conflicts that may be the basis of an entire piece of music or a momentary intuitive and impassive disruption. Just as poems elevate we amplify sound by aesthetic vibrations, working towards a hit-or-miss type approach in order to create and induce random sequences and analog reverberations emulating caveman sounds. Emitto Audio are Datura Dilema & Ribes; Two Mexico Techno Veterans.
