Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Thomas Heinecke Thomas Heinecke German composer, guitarist and musician. Born in Paderborn, Germany. The multi-instrumentalist from the Ruhr area has been playing in the Motzek band for more than 25 years. Today he lives in Paderborn. He plays accordion, guitar, keyboard, mandolin, blues harp. And if you provoke him, he could - so it is assumed - also play the violin. He sings to accompany Motzek and is always ready for a snappy, funny saying. He is arranger at Motzek and also composer of his own songs, which he records in the in-house recording studio. During his musical career, Heinecke played in numerous bands of different styles. He can also be heard as a studio musician on various productions. Among other things, his excellent guitar playing is a trademark of Heinecke. Just a pleasure to listen to him in the Motzek band. He also is a temporary member of [a=Bandari] and [a=Ethno Music Project]. He has produced 1 track "Mysterious Green Island" with [a=Oliver Schwarz] contribute to Bandari and Ethno Music Project.

Miles went on to play in Zombie Sunday. Shows were at the Pit of Ultimate Darkness on Franklin St, Thorp's barber shop on Atwood, and a place on Proudfit (Hell House?). The album was recorded at Acme Studios in early 2010, produced by Tim Responsible. Discography ----------- Live 6/4/09 - at The Darkness Pit Demos - unfinished and very rough versions of tracks Untitled Posthumous LP - full length album; rough unmixed version also exist (same recorded tracks)

Search Add 2 Palinstar Palinstar is a parallel universe, planet, and self-heroine all at once. Behind the name lies a distinguished multi-instrumentalist who has toured globally with Boytoy, supported Caroline Rose, and performed at KEXP with Kush K. Now, she finally presents her artistic vision: gay stuff, Emotional Jetlag, Heart Rock as a refuge. Or a blend of grand Americana melodies with simple lyrics, inspired by Lana Del Rey as well as Nirvana. Additionally, it's shaped by Swiss heritage and a deep, sensual voice akin to Angel Olsen and Feist. The specially invented language «Spenglish» forms the core of this «Mouthart». Sound that motivates towards self-empowerment and self-care while activating the emotional process.

Search Add 2 Juanita Fletcher Born to a deeply spiritual family, Juanita has been singing since the tender age of four. She is a native of Chester, Pennsylvania, where she was born, raised and musically cultivated. She sang her first notes in a church shepherded by her grandmother, Pastor Melvina White. Juanita's musical gifts started being groomed from a very young age by aunts Maxine Wilson, Rosemary Pyatt and Carolyn Overton. 2002 marked the independent release of Juanita’s debut CD “Surrender”. After promoting her CD on her own, Juanita attracted Road to Glory Records and the project was re-released on the Road to Glory label in 2003. During the first few years of Juanita's career she showcased in almost 30 venues. On October 29, 2002, a song from "Surrender": her 1st project titled "Conflict", received a coveted Top 10 position in the Demo Review Panel & Contest sponsored by the Washington, DC chapter of Recording Academy. Panelist/Judges included Melissa Ruggieri, music critic for Richmond Times Dispatch and South Records' Andy Martin. In 2004 Juanita released her sophomore album, "Free to Be Me!". From this project she also won Gospel Single of the Year 2004 by a Female artist for her song “Day Away” at the 4th Annual Tiffany Gospel Awards in New York. In 2006, she released her third album "Turning Point". While recording and promoting these 3 CDs, Juanita also completed her undergraduate studies at Tidewater Bible College in Virginia Beach, Virginia. There she earned her Associates Degree in Ministry Studies and her Bachelor Degree in Christian Leadership. She later earned a Master of Divinity at Virginia Union University’s Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology and a Master of Management and Leadership at Liberty University. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate degree. Finally, Juanita's recordings and ministry moments have often been described by others as love songs to God. Juanita herself describes her sound simply as soulful elegance ministered to an audience of one. Juanita is an anointed Psalmist who brings a definite sophistication to the deliverance of God's word through song.
