Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Bozon | Bozon | From the CD packaging: The band heard on this CD was Bozon in its final incarnation. Bozon began in the late seventies forging a unique form of jazz-rock in a rehearsal studio (”the space”) behind the Dharma Submarine Shop near the nexus of Market and Van Ness streets in San Francisco. Countless long days and late nights were spent working on complex original compositions that often featured an anarchic sense of humor and “odd” time signatures (with no regard, indeed a disdain for the monotony of the four-four disco beat so prevalent at the time). The diversity of the players’ backgrounds brought a large palette of influences into the mix. Sometimes, this created an overly complicated gumbo of confusion (both for the players and listeners). However, when things did go right, the results could be surprising and sublime. Bozon played a modest succession of rather eccentric parties and gigs, but it was hard to duplicate their sound out of the space. As disco gave way to punk, the handwriting was easy enough to read. The group disbanded in late 1980/early 1981. The bulk of this CD was originally recorded in 1980 in the space on a couple of Teac 40-4 tape decks and the sound quality was pretty dismal. Almost three decades later this material was transferred into the digital realm (none too soon, as the tape was disintegrating) and, in a laborious process, cleaned up. Two of the pieces were originally recorded in 16 and 24 track analog studios and were also moved into Pro Tools for editing. The goal wasn’t to “re-do” the music, but to improve the sonic quality and present some lost work from an unknown band. |

His years in high school lead to not only enjoying percussion but where he started his craft as a singer, which opened him up to other instruments. After receiving a degree in music and education at the College of Puget Sound, he worked within the public school system in Tacoma. He dabbled in radio and television, but his love of singing is something he held onto until his passing on July 28, 2012. His students and fans fondly remember the man they knew as "Mr. Music". |

| Search | Add | 2 | Leon Heale | Australian jazz bassist and vocalist. Leon grew up in South Gippsland, Victoria and played guitar. He moved to Melbourne in the late 1950s and swapped to bass. He took lessons with Lyn Challen and had a residency on Hayman Island with some seasoned professionals. Around this time Leon met Graeme Hall, who introduced him to the jazz work of Bill Evans which he adopted. In the 1960s he spent a lot of time at sea playing in the orchestras on cruise liners (to Athens, Southampton – New York, Las Palmas, Bahamas) along with residencies in London, Ipswich and Scarborough in the U.K, Dacca, and Kuala Lumpur. These contracts required Leon to learn electric bass and singing arranged group vocals. In between these cruises and residencies overseas there was work on ABC series Boomeride, as well as playing with New World Trio – both of these featured folk style music. Leon is a group vocals enthusiast and was in supplementary vocal groups attached to Brian May's ABC Showband weekly recording output including The ABC Singers, The Kevin Hocking Singers. Throughout the 1970s he was also the bass player in jazz bands, The Garry Hyde Four and Garry Hyde Tradition. From the mid-70s Leon played with many well known Australian jazz figures, including James Morrison, Frank Traynor, Bob Barnard, Joe Chindamo, Graeme Hall. In the 2000s Leon’s interest in community orchestras redeveloped and found him playing symphonies and concertos with the Frankston Orchestra, Zelman Orchestra and Maroondah Symphony Orchestra. | |

However, his Professional debut was back in 1983. He has composed two of Bhoomi's most popular songs "Pichu Pichu" and "Chol Polaye Jai". Abhijit feels happy to have carried on his father's wishes. Even though his mother passed away in 2000, just before Bhoomi's first album "Jatra Shuru" was released, he is satisfied that his mother got to hear about the album and blessed him. He is a total family man and a loving father he spends most of his time net surfing and listening to varied music styles. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Gipsy Khamoro | Khamoro (translated as "Sunshine") Originally a Romani folklore ensemble of dances and songs. Founded by conductor and artistic director Helena Demeterová (born in eastern Slovakia). The Demeter family was supplemented in the ensemble by musicians and dancers mainly from the extended family. The ensemble was founded in the 1980s. Some of its members starred in the 1986 film "Kdo se bojí, utíká" by director Dušan Klein. The group performed at the 1st Czechoslovak RomFest in Brno in 1990. Several studio films were also made in the Czechoslovakia. The basis of the ensemble was Helena Demeter and her 4 sons Jiří, Pavel, Jan and Robert Demeter. At the beginning of the 1990s the ensemble transformed into a Rom-pop group of the same name (without Helena Demeterová). The leading personalities of the group became Jiří and Pavel Demeter. The group's permanent stage and home was the eponymous Prague and Žižkov Roma music club and restaurant Khamoro, founded by Jan Demeter. In May 1993, the group also performed at the Concert Against Racism at Chmelnice in Prague. At the same time, they made a significant contribution to the song "Žehnej Bůh" (inspired by "We Are the World"). Members: Jiří Demeter - composer, lyricist, singer, guitar and harmonica player (30.4.1963 Prague - 21.9.2023) Robert Demeter - choreographer, singer, guitar, mandolin, violin player (30.1.1966 Prague - 5.5.2021 Auckland, New Zealand) Jan Demeter - singer, guitar and bass player (1968 Prague) Pavel Demeter - composer, lyricist, singer, guitar and keyboard player (1972 Prague) Monika Demeterová and others The group has performed and recorded (among others on ČT - Česká televize and ČRo - Český rozhlas) with many guests (e.g. Jan "Sivák" Omáčka, Judr. Emil Ščkua, Emil "Miška" Gadžor, Zdeněk Lázok, Pavel Gondlolán, and others). In the second half of the 1990s, the Demeter family emigrated to Australia and New Zealand, where they undertook several music and dance tours. In 1999, the Khamoro festival was founded in Prague, named after the group. | |
