Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Scotty LeBlanc | Paddy "Scotty" LeBlanc | Paddy "Scotty" LeBlanc (1923 – 1974) was a fiddler from East Margaree. He was born in 1923 and was the son of fiddler Jim LeBlanc and Margaret Poirier. As a child, he took stepdance lessons and quickly became a skilled dancer. He studied the violin in under Professor James MacDonald of North Sydney. It was from James MacDonald that Paddy learned to read music well. He began to play for dances all over Cape Breton. He was also a highland drummer and played for many years in the Cape Breton Highlanders Regiment. As an adult, he moved to Sydney, and still remained involved with Cape Breton music. Each week he played with a group called “The Lumberjacks” on CJCB-TV. He also performed with Winston Fitzgerald on the “Cape Breton Ceilidh” television program. He released two albums under the Celtic Records label under the name of “Scotty” LeBlanc. Paddy performed as far away as Scotland, and his performance was aired on BBC. Paddy Leblanc passed away in February of 1974. |
| Search | Add | 2 | Firing Bullets | Richard Starke | Richard Starke was born in South Hampton and now resides in Seattle where he concocts some of the freshest experimental breaks this side of the pond. Starke is no new-comer to the world of production: he founded his first band at 15 after playing the guitar for only two years. After a brief signing to Giles Peterson's highly eclectic Acid Jazz moniker, Starke struck a deal with the High Llamas Sean O'Hagan. That in turn led to his full-length project Gideon Gaye. At this time he felt the urge to record something new. Not finding any likeminded musical mates in Seattle, Starke opted to use the late '90s musician's best friend: a Pentium 166. He downloaded and bootlegged software, and mixed in a 10-year supply of thrift store classics to create the music you have before you. Welcome to the new breakbeat sound of Firing Bullits |

The sound to move you and inspire a new generation of song makers who are creating their own destiny, while challenging what we know as modern music today. Current Projects Underway: - Prophis Album #2 - Debut Album with Face One [Heartbeat in Stereo] - International Record with Angie Richardson Band/artist history - Home schooled during high school to make sound. - Moved to Minneapolis & attended the Institute of Production & Recording for two years (Received ICON award upon graduating.) - Signed with indie label Student Run Records & released first commercial album, "Harmony In Chaos" Have you performed in front of an audience? Outkast Atmosphere Mos Def What equipment do you use? Ableton Live [7] MBox 2 Korg - Triton LE & Micro MPD24 Soul Anything else? REVIEWS: "A self-proclaimed music prodigy, Prophis clearly knows that hes one talented cat. His beats can be best described as breakbeats in that they have an electronica/hip-hop duality going on, but clearly there is much more going on here than just that. Prophis music is evolved and a notch above the status quo in such a way that other artists may soon be wondering if they will still be considered original after people have heard this guy. I dont know what they put in the Vermont water where Prophis lives, but whatever it is, it must be good. Prophis is 100% self-taught and ready to make his mark on the music world. Watch for it." - spacecadetz.com.com "This album has been quite an experience of what Hip Hop mixed with many genre's would sound like. Every song from beginning to end is an adventure of what must have been going through the mind of Prophis, an artist that I had the pleasant discovery of through my research of New England Hip Hop. If your the type into being open minded with your musical taste, well this would be, a not to be missed chance to listen and download some amazing works of art. Each song is well written, produced and arranged to perfect "Harmony in Chaos", of course. From the opening "Bang Bang" with it's trip hop feel...through to "Clear the Haze" which has such a catchy sound to it...to the amazing masterpiece of "Dreams Made of You", your not even halfway through the material when your thinking, how incredible this sounds already and realizing you haven't skipped past any songs yet. Other amazing notable stand outs..."Sunshine" .. "Love Is Now", featuring the ab - soul - lutely beautiful Angie Richardson (who should also be checked out, for her seductive sounding productions) .. "My Life Is Wind", which has a bit of a Kanye feel, but what a great song it is .. and please don't miss the amazingly great collaboration of Prophis and the immense talent of Imani Coppola on "Low Gravity", I'm sure these two will have more music together in the future. All throughout, a great well rounded LP for any true music lover to appreciate fully, even the two bonus tracks are very worth peeking in on. I'd give this a very strong 4.5, he most def pulled a Prince on this project, pretty much handling everything. Talent wise he's got it...and I'm sure you'll be seeing and hearing more from this Vermont born artist in the near future. For now sit back, enjoy and appreciate a near masterpiece...I know I have been." - DScribez, "U Are Now Sub-Scribed" Blog On iTunes: "Wow. Simply cannot put this album down. This is the minneapolis Album of the year in my opinion! Buy this album, you will not regret it!" - Pollie Walnuts "Prophis i a very talented producer and artist. His music is a unique mixture of Hip Hop and Electronic styles. I recommend every song on the album, although Sunshine and Dreams made of You are my top 2 favorite. Represent MN and midwest music!" - Tater4 "I haven't heard anything like this EVER. IF you guys like Tricky and Gorillaz you'll love Prophis. Amazing" - Djdeetc Prophis is simply one thing...the sound of the future! Mixing his experience in hip hop with his love for electronic music as well as unique soundscapes, Prophis has the ability to capture the imagination on a plain that is not of the world! ...universal if you will! I believe that this is the artist that our music industry has been waiting for! Definately a must have record! Two thumbs way up! - Blisslybeautiful "Very impressed for this being a Debut album. It is obvious Prophis is no amateur. Mad Props" - TrueMuse | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Candace Coles | Candace Coles is an American R&B singer, born in the city of Washington DC, strongly influenced by [a=Nina Simone], [a=Jill Scott], [a=Etta James] and [a=Chaka Khan], [a=Tina Turner], [a=Anita Baker], [a=Bette Midler], [a=Eartha Kitt], her mother, her aunts, her Nana, your grandmother ... and much more !! Her collaboration with [a=Darien Dorsey], "Breakin' The Rules", is featured in the Cloak & Dagger episode First Light. When it comes to CANDACE COLES her formula is no secret. That special concoction of love, sincerity, and truth is the recipe that is Candace Coles-a soulful singer and songwriter whose warmth resonates throughout an entire room. From the moment you shake her hand and share her smile, it’s obvious Candace’s heartfelt songwriting and passion for life will undeniably leave “her fingerprints all over the world” And she is doing just that with her debut EP, Fingerprints, released December of 2011. A former middle school teacher, Ms. Coles has witnessed first hand the need to continuously inspire and encourage our young girls to live their best lives, and with the release of her hit single “I Own The Night”, she’s doing just that. This upbeat, “pro-girl” anthem was featured in the Pepsi “Black Girls Rock” commercial featuring famed DJ and Philanthropist Beverly Bond, which aired nationwide. After Candace completed her college degree at Boston’s famed Berklee College of Music, she was forced to answer the same question many college grads are faced with, “So what’s next?” She found the answer in her music. “Although the road has not always been an easy one, I’ve noticed that whenever I’ve followed my heart the results are remarkable.” She performed in Brooklyn, NY for the ALT foundation. A non-profit group created in honor of Aijie L Turner. The foundation was created by Ajile's mother to support young entrepreneurs in the arts as he did during his life time. The foundation shares similar interests with Candace as their motto "Footprints of a Dream", provides a strong outlet for youth to channel their artistic expressions. The performance was nothing short of stellar as she shared her heart with the bustling, New York crowd. Soon after opening the evening with her own set, she returned to sing "Testify" with Hip Hop Superstar, Common. Over the past several years she’s spread her wings as a writer and performer, touring around the country with artists such as [a=Martin Luther] and [a=Maimouna Youssef]. Most recently, Candace collaborated with Grammy-Award Winner [a=Gordon Chambers]. This talented young Singer a Songwriter’s star continues to rise, with critics comparing her work with Gordon as reminiscent of [a=Tammy Terrell] and [a=Marvin Gaye]. She co-wrote and is featured on the classic duet “Love You Better” found on Chamber’s new album “Sincere”, on sale now! Candace often explores themes of self-empowerment and challenges her listeners to find their own personal way to share their Fingerprints with the world, as her lyrics suggest in her song YBF, from the EP: “Take a look at the world, tell me what you don’t like, well why don’t you change it, baby fix what you don’t like, why ask why? Cause I’m Young, Beautiful & Fabulous.” From the bustling streets of Boston, to the sunny shores of Los Angeles, and all the way back to her hometown of Washington, DC; Candace’s life nowadays is simply about transit and transitioning. | Search | Add | 2 | Over The Falls | Santa Rosa's Over The Falls ... seems to have a time machine hidden somewhere and they are able to use it to go back to the underground scene in the early Nineties to borrow riffs and ideas. Glaring influences include Clutch, Mastodon, and The Bakerton Group. Over The Falls brought their own style of Thrashy Metal to the stage and brought it well. Think early King Crimson mixed with throaty screaming vocals delivered by Chris Rodgers, who is constanly moving around the stage and keeping the energy high. Guitarist Bret Fontaine plays his speedy, overdriven riffage through a Mesa Boogie Stilletto halfstack, solidifying that nineties sound. His vocals are a bit smoother than Rodgers' and a little bit Mike Patton. The OTF myspace page appropriately credits Ryan Alderman as "Drums, Long Hair", his sticks and long hair were flying everywhere during the set. Alderman comfortably transitions between odd time signatures and plays with a respectable intensity throughout the set. Tim Bastianon gets an extremely warm sound from his Fender P-bass/Jazz Bass hybrid while effectively cutting through the mix and playing interesting yet complicated riffs. Unlike many rock bass players, he doesn't just get lost under what the guitarist is doing, he plays in his own style without trying to steal the spotlight. Come to think of it, all four members are usually doing something interesting enough to captivate the audience while at the same time staying in the pocket with the rest of the band, isn't that the definition of a good live band? | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Fielding Dawson | Fielding Dawson (August 2, 1930 – January 5, 2002) was a Beat-era author of short stories and novels, and a student at Black Mountain College. He was also a painter and collagist whose works were seen in several books of poetry and many literary magazines. Born in New York City, Dawson was known for his stream-of-consciousness style. Much of his work was lax in punctuation to emphasize the immediacy of thought. Additionally, dialogue would often be used to break this up. His lack of deference toward tradition in writing, other than that of the necessity to evoke humanity, often painfully raw, is what puts him in the category of many of his better-known contemporaries, such as Jack Kerouac or Allen Ginsberg. Dawson was still writing up until his unexpected death in January 2002. He had become a teacher, first in prisons like Sing Sing, at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at the Naropa Institute in Boulder, where he taught regularly, and continuing on to work with at-risk students at Upward Bound High School in Hartwick, New York. He was recently called "The Best St. Louis Writer You've Never Read" by David Clewell, a professor of history at Webster University. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mark Room | Mark Room has already begun with nine years to realize his love for music in the local marching band. Several times he wins the title „German Champion" with this club. But only to play the marsh drum was not enough – he deals increasingly with music theory. His own computer becomes like a small studio and the first sounds were arranged digitally. Furthermore he starts to play music in clubs, discotheques and on events. It is his special sound combination which makes the audible difference to other artists. In collaboration with a local studio the first release generated in the end of 2002. Promptly the track stays in various charts on top positions for several weeks. Exclusive Remixes for own use grade up Mark Room’s DJ sets and makes him ready for the international stage. | |
