Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Paragong | This shortlived band, who existed only from February to April 1973, and only played gigs in France, was basically [a=Gong] without its leaders, [a=Daevid Allen] and [a=Gilli Smyth]. The couple wanted to take some time off, tired after the recording of the album Flying Teapot in January 1973, and the major line-up changes in the band during the previous months, and had left for vacation in Majorca. During Allen and Smyth absence however, Gong still had concerts booked in France, so to honor these commitments, the remaining members regrouped around veteran Didier Malherbe, new recruits Steve Hillage and Tim Blake, plus Pierre Moerlen who joined the band a few days before departure of Allen and Smyth. The alternate line-up of the band, christened ParaGong, also included initially bassist Didier Thibault (ex-Moving Gelatine Plates) during February 1973 - he was quickly replaced by Mike Howlett. In May 1973, Daevid Allen and Gilly Smyth came back, and work on Gong's album Angel's Egg started. This period in Spring 1973 when Gong's musicians, all quite new to the band, were given the opportunity to rehearse together and get familiar with each others' styles proved particularly successful and made a dramatic impact on the band's cohesion and sound. There is even much speculation as to whether these five musicians had actually invented the 'classic' Gong sound of 'Angel's Egg' and 'You' without Allen's participation. With the release or archive live tape recorded on that early 1973 tour, this hypothesis has finally proven both true and exaggerated. Every musician involved in Gong's history, and this particular incarnation for sure, had a great influence of its musical development. Yet without Daevid Allen's impetus, original concepts and humour, it would never have had the impact it had on several generations of listeners. | Search | Add | 2 | Red Treasure | Collin Daniels and Gabriel Rivero formed the core of Red Treasure in late 2015 in Los Angeles, with Daniels on vocals and guitar and Rivero on drums. Specialising in melodic, riff-centric power punk, the group's sound gives a definite nod to 90's alternative bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, along with a healthy dash of 80's-era Metallica hard rock. These elements come together on their debut 5-track EP, "The Hothouse Trip." In the studio, the band teamed up with Engineer/Co-Producer Spencer Guerra, and Rivero performed double-duty on bass and drums. For this first recording, the group also got crucial contributions from Daniels' college pal Corey Landis, of Corey Landis & The Attacks, on piano and backup vocals on the song "Only Human." Genre Alternative Rock Band Members Collin Daniels, Gabriel Rivero Home Town Los Angeles, CA, United States About Red Treasure creates melodic, riff-centric power punk, giving a definite nod to 90’s alternative bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, along with a healthy dash of 80’s-era Metallica hard rock. Biography Singer/Guitarist Collin Daniels had founded two bands in New York City, only to watch both dissolve as other members dropped out. Undeterred, he moved his whole life to Los Angeles for a fresh start. Native Angelino and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Rivero had high hopes for the LA-based outfit he was playing lead guitar in. One day he found himself suddenly band-less in the wake of the lead singer’s unexpected departure. Through different, circuitous circumstances that now look a lot like fate, in 2015 they both ended up working at a call center for a large bank. Conversation between cubicles about common interests soon led to the first rehearsal of Red Treasure. The band began performing around LA in 2016, and their first EP, “The Hothouse Trip,” is set for release in June 2015. Current Location Los Angeles, CA, United States | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Remko Muermans | Remko Muermans | Remko Muermans was an experiemental musician from the Netherlands. Remko was born in 1974 in Arnhem, Netherlands and died on September 6, 2024 in Moscow, Russia after the concert of [a=Razmotchiki Katushek]. He fell in love with alternative music in the early nineties. Remko visited concerts and festivals when possible and had his first DJ sets in the local youth centre. After leaving for university in Amsterdam he joined the band ZEA (alternative pop) in 1997. ZEA released several cassettes after which they joined the label Transformed Dreams. Their first album got great reviews and airtime and gave way for tours in the Netherlands, Germany and England. The band split up and reformed as a duo in 2002 (the classical second album pressure at work). The musical style changed to electro rock & roll and the band started doing everything by themselves. Zea played tours all over Europe, in America, Canada, Russia and Ethiopia while organising shows in Amsterdam. Remko fell in love during his first tour in Russia and decided to move there. After twelve years of extensive touring his life on stage came to a halt in 2008. In 2018 a new adventure started: RAZMOTCHIKI KATUSHEK (industrial electro). In this project Remko plays with his wife Ekaterina Fedorova, who he met at the SKIF festival in 2005 when he played there with ZEA. Ekaterina plays a mix of acoustic drums, samples and noise objects while Remko plays samples, electronics and noise effects. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Terrashima | Terrashima were formed in Derby in 2000 from the ashes of Psychotic Reaction, a 60s psychedelic / garage-influenced band a la Chocolate Watch Band and Nuggets and Pebbles obsessed garage ditties. [a=Ryan DelGaudio] guitar) and Mike Cross (bass) left Psychotic Reaction to form Terrashima along with Mark Ibbotson (vocals) and Andy (drums), the latter of whom left in 2001 to pursue a career in business, and was replaced by Dan Montague. The band’s name was a riff on the MC5's recording studio, and were inspired by the likes of the MC5, Jesus Lizard, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, Mudhoney, Sonic Youth and Scratch Acid. They were famous for the manic and chaotic nature of their live shows. A slew of chaotic tours with the likes of Liars and the band imploded. After Terrashima Ryan, Mike and Dan went on to form [a=The Swarm (4)] along with [a=Callum Thompson] (vocals), Olly Toogood (noises & black boxes) and Scott Sandham (visuals and projections). A dark, dystopian punk project that lasted a few years before the band fizzled out, [a=Ryan DelGaudio] then went on to co found Cult of dom keller. Cult of dom keller are still active today and since 2007 have established themselves as one of the underground’s most exciting and interesting experimental rock bands in the Uk with an interesting discography of psychedelia , industrial , shoegaze , post punk and experimental edge to their music. They are signed to Fuzz Club records and have regularly played Europe & the USA as well had been championed by Iggy Pop on his BBC Radio 6 show. | |
