Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | My Escapade | My Escapade dates back to early 2007, where brothers Jason and Simon James began rehearsing in an abandoned school, in Burnie Tasmania, with comrades Chris van Tholen and Alan Forrest. The band soon started performing all around their home state, establishing their local fan base whilst developing their sound, live presence and recording their first demos. In 2010 the band left their island-state, basing themselves in Queensland, to strengthen ties with management and support the release of their debut EP Soul’s Reflection. This move also allowed for greater access to a larger variety of live music venues and a competitive independent music scene. Soul’s Reflection was globally released through digital distribution agent Musicadium, and is available on iTunes, Nokia Music and Amazon, as well as many other online music stores. | Search | Add | 2 | Kate Hinote Trio | The Kate Hinote Trio is a contemporary folk ensemble rooted in storytelling, rich melodies, and an unmistakable chemistry between its members. Led by vocalist and songwriter Kate Hinote, the trio features guitarist David Johnson (her longtime bandmate from The Blueflowers) and violinist Matthew Parmenter (of art-rock band Discipline). Together, they create an acoustic sound that is both finely crafted and refreshingly human — where the lines between folk, chamber pop, and indie songcraft gently blur. Detroit area journalist, Jeff Milo, describes Hinote’s voice as “cinematic and operatic, a mood-setting, mellifluous intonation that fits inside candle-lit lounges, late summer night feverdreams, or as a torch song from a surreal soundtrack.” John Sinkevics of Local Spins and WYCE in Grand Rapids, MI, describes the trio as a “new indie-folk/prog-folk trio which manages to not only retain and showcase Hinote’s haunting, mesmerizing vocals but centers them in a fetching, gorgeously arranged acoustic pillow.” Their second album, Stowaways (out June 2025), showcases the trio’s evolution with ten original songs that lean into narrative-driven songwriting. The heart of their music lies in the dynamic between Hinote’s clear, expressive vocals and Parmenter’s violin, which often takes on the role of a second voice — playful, tender, or teasing — adding emotional depth and dialogue to every song. Johnson’s warm and intuitive guitar work anchors the arrangements, giving each story the space it needs to unfold. Known for their engaging live performances, the Kate Hinote Trio mixes original material with a curated selection of modern and retro covers — including tributes to fellow Detroit songwriters — offering something familiar, something unexpected, and something uniquely theirs. Over the past six years, the trio has brought their music to stages across Michigan, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, and Kentucky, including a featured appearance on NPR/PRX’s Red Barn Radio from WEKU in Lexington, KY. | |

In 1986, He was part of a band, Blacksheep, which was in existence for the next three years. DOUBLE D. moved on in 1991, to join the band, BLUE VENTURES, with which he stayed until 1994. He then relocated to the United States and Canada. Nostalgia hit in 1995 and Double D. returned to Trinidad as one of the lead singers of ever-popular crossover band, J.M.C. TRIVENI. Deciding to launch a solo career in 1996, Double D. entered the SOCA and Chutney Monarch competitions, for the first time, during the 1997 Trinidad Carnival season. He reached the finals in both competitions, obviously, a force to be reckoned with. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Latchkey Lights | Latchkey Lights began when Shonda Robbins and Daniel Colby collaborated together over late night cocktails on a barely playable cheap acoustic guitar that someone had left for dead. After realizing that the composition of the music Colby was creating married perfectly with the blues-influenced Southern vocals and lyrics of Robbins, they decided to form a band. Colby reached out to Loved Ones, Vapers guitarist B. David Walsh who he had met in the late 90's and collaborated with in their Jade Tree Records released project The Explosion. Juxtaposing this primal energy with another of his musical connections, Colby recruited bassist PJ Norman. The pair are comrades in post-punk outfit Glass Rifle, one of several projects on which they have co-created, released through Norman's 100m Records imprint. Rounding out the line-up is drummer-extraordinaire Peter Hilton, whose credentials include Nodzzz, Piano Movers and Tiger Dare. In 2016 the 5-piece recorded and released their debut EP, Latchkey Lights, on 100m Records, which East Village Radio described as having a "very cool Au Pairs/X vibe". The band hope you enjoy it. After a string of dates in 2016, 2017 saw the band take to the stage as a 4-piece after Walsh's departure to honor commitments with The Explosion and Vapers. The band thrived in the added space, sharing stages with groups like Moles and Pissed Jeans. Latchkey Lights now announce their late 2017 full-length, Escape Clause. | |

Later, she played steel guitar but developed her musical skills primarily as a singer. Her style artfully blends pop with touches of classical music structures and jazzy suggestions. As a songwriter, she draws upon her life experiences, many of which reflect her home environment as a child and her adult life as wife and mother. Her repertoire is an intriguing blend of her own compositions, pop, jazz and classical music. After spending some years resident in Southern California, where she played concerts in Los Angeles and the San Diego area, in the early 2000s, Lavender relocated to the New England states. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sugar Organ | Hip-Hop group from Denver, CO, this is a project created in the free time of Tittle T the guitarist and vocalist for a Denver based metal band called [a=Engine Ear], and [a=Timmy Flips] also a guitarist and vocalist but hes in a punk band called [a=Red Stinger]. They started with a lot of momentum which lasted for a while they were even recording a second album. But a series of previous commitments and events in their personal lives prevented their continuous engagement with the community, and each other for a while, and i haven't heard any talk of them picking it back up any time soon either, though Matt did contribute lead vocals to a track on [a=Red Stinger]'s latest album. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Adramolech | Mark Hamill | Adramolech is the pseudonym under which [a=Mark Hamill] played as a member of the New Zealand black metal band [a=Demoniac]. When the rest of the band relocated to the UK without him in 1996, he was effectively kicked out of the band. At the same time, Hamill played in popular rock act [a=Head Like A Hole] under the name Hidee Beast from their inception until late 1997, when they parted ways over musical differences. In the late 90s, with his other commmitments over, he spent some time drumming for local goth band [a=Disjecta Membra]. |
